ABOUT FRED WADSWORTH
I am uniquely qualified to help your son or daughter on their journey to reaching their God given potential. Every step they may endeavor to take, I have taken that step. I have won on every level in which I have competed: from Junior Golf (#9 national ranking) to amateur and collegiate golf (#7 national ranking, All-American at University of South Carolina, inducted into USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010) to professionally winning internationally (1989 South African Open) and on the PGA Tour (1986 Southern Open). I have competed in the Masters, 3 U. S. Opens, a PGA and a Senior British Open. I know what excellence looks like more importantly I know how to prepare and guide you in achieving your goals and aspirations. I understand the ups and downs this game guarantees, the pressures unique to golf, and specifically what coaches love and hate when evaluating recruits.
DON’T LET THE SUN SET ON YOUR CHILD’S DREAM OF PLAYING COLLEGE GOLF
EVALUATION AND CONSULTATION
Question: Does your child really have talent? I know they seem really good, but relative to who? Is college golf possible, and if so what do I need to do now? What steps can I take to ensure they have every opportunity to play in college?
Answer: An evaluation and consultation with Fred Wadsworth Golf. I may not tell you what you want to hear, but I will give you a thorough honest evaluation of your child’s game and where they currently stand in the college process. I’ll examine a myriad of factors from physical abilities, to practice routines, academic record relative to your colleges of interest, along with a mental golf profile. A client interview, range session, short game assessment, and some golf course time will complete the evaluation. Upon completion, I will sit down with you and your child to discuss the results and my recommendations concerning your child’s future prospects for college golf. This process is the required first step to being accepted into one of my programs.
